Our Commitment to Equality
At Sandcross, we believe every child should feel valued, respected and included. We are committed to promoting equality, celebrating diversity and ensuring all children have the opportunity to belong, learn and flourish.
Our approach is underpinned by our school values of Kindness, Resilience, Responsibility and Respect.
Our Equality Objectives 2026–2030
1. Curriculum Representation and Belonging
Ensure our curriculum reflects diversity, celebrates differences and helps every child feel represented and included.
2. Equitable Participation and Outcomes
Identify and reduce barriers to learning and participation so that all pupils have fair opportunities to achieve and succeed.
3. Respectful Relationships and Community Confidence
Promote positive relationships, mutual respect and a school community in which everyone feels welcomed, listened to and valued.
How We Monitor Progress
We monitor progress towards our equality objectives through school improvement planning, curriculum reviews, pupil outcomes, participation information and feedback from pupils, parents and staff.
School-specific measures and annual progress updates will be published once agreed and approved.
