School Planner: Our school planner is a comprehensive resource that contains key information for parents and children. It includes essential dates, such as school events and holidays, as well as the home-school agreement outlining our shared responsibilities. Additionally, it outlines how we teach core parts of the curriculum and sets clear expectations for your child's home learning.

Morning and Afternoon Greetings: We foster a warm and welcoming environment by having our teachers and class staff present each morning and afternoon during drop-off and pick-up times. We encourage parents to engage with them as their first point of contact for any questions or concerns.

Email Correspondence: For written communication, we ask that all parents use the email address 'office@sandcross.school.' Our dedicated team will promptly respond to your messages and direct them to the appropriate staff members.

Senior Leadership Team: Should you have any concerns that are not addressed by your child's class teacher, our senior leadership team is here to provide support and guidance. They are available to assist with more complex matters and ensure your concerns are resolved effectively.

SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Communication: If your child has special educational needs or disabilities, we encourage you to initially speak with their class teacher. They can provide valuable insights and assistance. For more detailed information, our SENDCOs (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinators) are available via email at senco@sandcross.school.

Arbur Communication Tool: We've introduced Arbur as our new communication tool to enhance our connection with parents. With Arbur, we can send emails, text messages, and in-app messages about various aspects of school life, keeping you informed and engaged.

Weekly Newsflash: Every Friday, we publish a Newsflash that contains useful dates and important reminders. This ensures you have all the information you need to plan for the upcoming week.

Monthly Celebration Newsletter: Once a month, we release a Celebration Newsletter that highlights the exciting achievements and activities our children have been involved in. It's a great way to celebrate our school community's accomplishments.

Gate Greetings: Our senior staff members are present at the school gate daily to greet you and answer any questions you may have. We believe in providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere where parents and caregivers feel comfortable and valued.
