Welcome to the Sandcross Primary School website!

I hope you find the information here helpful and that it gives you a taste of the happy, industrious school that we are. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need more information about any aspect of our school’s provision.

Sandcross is a co-educational Primary school for children aged 3-11 years. We have one nursery class, two forms of entry in years R, 1 and 2, then four forms of entry in years three to six. Although a large school, Sandcross has the feel of a smaller school because of the way it is organised.

Sandcross offers a caring and happy environment for children embarking on the first stage of their education. We promote the best possible academic, cultural and moral values in a nurturing environment. Our dedicated team of staff is committed to providing the children with a happy, well-disciplined environment where they can make the most of every learning opportunity offered to them and fulfil their potential. Our mission is 'Inspiring Lifelong Success’ and we have six school values. Together, they seek to create a school where all children are inspired to see learning as a lifelong experience, make good choices and aspire to excellence. We value each child's character and recognise the importance of our partnership with their parents in enabling us to meet their individual needs. We have one school rule – ‘We show kindness and respect to everyone’, an ethos we think is vital for success in life as well as at school, and we apply it to all of our children from age 3 to age 11.

Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions for a parent. We hope you will come to visit us so that we can show you that Sandcross school is right for your child. Please contact the school office to make an appointment and we will be happy to meet you and show you around.
